Dear Sir or Madaam,

As you are well aware, the flight school business is a difficult one in which to earn a profit.  Competition is fierce, expenses are high and margins are razor thin.  You are caught between two jaws of a dilemma; operate new FAA Part 23 Certified Aircraft with initial cost in excess of $180,000, or operate older, used aircraft with their high operating cost and lessened reliability.

The Czech Aircraft Works company addressed these issues when it designed the SportCruiser.  It was designed to be rugged, simple to maintain and above all, a fuel efficient airplane. Starting with its riveted aluminum construction and ending with its choice of Rotax or Jabiru engines, the SportCruiser is simple to maintain and economical to operate. The heart of the SportCruiser is its Light Sport Aircraft (LSA) classification. With its 28 Kt. stall speed, the SportCruiser makes teaching in it a delight. With its 120 Kt. Cruise speed, it becomes an efficient cross country touring airplane.
With operating costs that allow you to rent it from $20.00 to $40.00 per hour less than Part 23 certified aircraft, combined with the fact that new, attractive airplanes attract new customers, your flight school will grow and become more profitable. In addition, the ability to teach Sport Pilots will enhance your schools operation by attracting new students who felt they were priced out of aviation in the past.

Sport Aircraft Works, INC., the exclusive North and South American importer and distributor for the Czech Aircraft Works line of LSA aircraft, is dedicated to making the SportCruiser the training aircraft of choice for the 21st Century. In addition to providing the finest training aircraft on the market today, we are committed to providing programs that enhance your schools profitability. To compliment the SportCruiser and other CZAW future aircraft training devices, Sport Aircraft Works INC.  has developed and produced the Sport Aircraft Pilot Center program. It is an LSA Flight Training Program for flight schools utilizing the SportCruiser, the safest, most docile and affordable LSA training airplane available, and other future Czech Aircraft Works aircraft models. This program provides the flight school with Student Course Material developed by Gleim Publishing and other specific documents and learning aides for the Czech Aircraft Works line of aircraft, along with student leads generated by our appointed third-party lead generation supplier. Our goal is not only to provide your aircraft of choice, but, to provide the tools that you need to improve your school’s profitability and effectiveness in instructing with the CZAW line of aircraft.

As you plan your flight school, consider the SportCruiser as part of your fleet.  It is one of the least expensive new aircraft to purchase and we can show you why it is the least expensive (read, the MOST profitable) aircraft you can operate. The attached Cost of Operation Analysis demonstrates the profitability of our airplane compared to two of the most popular Part 23 Certified airplanes. Contact me at the above listed phone number or visit us at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh Air Show, Oshkosh, WI., from Jul 28 to Aug 3, 2008 to see and fly the SportCruiser and discuss the benefits of becoming a Sport Aircraft Pilot Center.

Happy Flying,

Overview

The Sport Aircraft Pilot Center Program is a Sport Aircraft Works, INC flight school business program whose goal is to maximize profitability of flight schools utilizing the SportCruiser in their training programs. Pilot Centers are not dealers in the traditional sense, they are flight schools utilizing the SportCruiser in their training programs and have the ability to use the Sport Aircraft Pilot Center training materials furnished by Gleim Publishing. The key element in the program is an internet based lead generation program operated by a third party. Leads are generated through this third party site and disseminated to the pilot centers by Sport Aircraft Works. The right to purchase SportCruisers at a discount is an enhancement to allow the Pilot Centers to earn additional profit by selling SportCruisers to their students.

Tools

Sport Aircraft Pilot Centers will operate the SportCruiser in their training programs. They can purchase the airplane from Sport Aircraft Works at an agreed discount. In addition, they can use Sport Aircraft Works developed training materials in their school. The Pilot Center will commit to subscribe to the lead generation program jointly developed with our third party supplier. This marketing program will advertise Sport Aircraft Pilot Center training programs on its web site with leads directed to our third party lead generation supplier. Our third party lead generation supplier will respond to these leads and direct them to Sport Aircraft Works who will send them to the nearest Pilot Center. our third party lead generation supplier will follow up to ensure that the lead has been contacted by the Pilot Center and continue to follow up with e-mail contacts to track lead progress. In addition to utilizing the Sport Cruiser in their training and selling SportCruisers to their students, Pilot Centers will be responsible to provide maintenance to SportCruiser owners by becoming Sport Aircraft Works Service Centers.

Justification

The following Cash Flow Analysis demonstrates that a flight school operating an S-LSA SportCruiser in their school can earn the same profit as they do with a Part 23 Certified Airplane, while charging a $20 to $40 per hour lower rental rate for the SportCruiser and with a 50% to 65% lower capital investment.
